Red Reef Shark

C.D. Veracruz · “Tiburones Rojos” (Mexico)

C.D. Veracruz, from the port of Veracruz on Mexico’s Gulf coast, were nicknamed "Tiburones Rojos": the Red Sharks. Founded in 1943, they won the Mexican league twice in the 1940s.

On Futbol Island the red reef shark can be caught at:

• Boulder Cove: A rocky cove on Summit Isle’s far shore, piled with boulders, right round the coast from the sandbar. Shy animals shelter in the cracks between the rocks.

Size on the island: 120–260 cm.
