Blue Marlin

St. John's SC · “Marlins” (Grenada)

St. John's SC, from Gouyave in Grenada, are nicknamed the "Marlins". Gouyave was the centre of Grenada's fishing industry and holds a "Fish Friday" festival every week.

On Futbol Island the blue marlin can be caught at:

• Deep Sea Boat: A little fishing boat moored far out in the deep blue bay, north of the East Jetty. Squid, marlin and stranger things swim far below.
• Summit Deep Boat: A second little fishing boat, moored in the deep channel west of Summit Isle. Green, deep water where tuna, sailfish and marlin hunt the bait balls.

Size on the island: 200–450 cm.
