A baby zebra shark has stripes, but as it grows up the stripes turn into spots, like changing from a home kit to an away kit. It is a calm, slow shark that rests on the sand all day. It lives as far as northern Australia, home of the Matildas.
On Futbol Island the zebra shark can be caught at:
- Palm Point: A curving beach on Summit Isle’s shore, shaded by a lone dune palm where five boulders break the swell. Shore crabs work the sand between them.
Size on the island: 80–250 cm.
