Lanternfish

Lanternfish make their own light in the dark deep sea. The world's first floodlit football match was played at Bramall Lane, Sheffield, on 14 October 1878, in front of over 20,000 people.

On Futbol Island the lanternfish can be caught at:
- Deep Sea Boat: A little fishing boat moored far out in the deep blue bay, north of the East Jetty. Squid, marlin and stranger things swim far below.
- Summit Deep Boat: A second little fishing boat, moored in the deep channel west of Summit Isle. Green, deep water where tuna, sailfish and marlin hunt the bait balls.
Size on the island: 3–15 cm.
