CD Veracruz, from the port city of Veracruz in Mexico, were known as the "Tiburones Rojos", the Red Sharks. Fans remember a wave of support called "La Tiburomanía".

- Lifebuoy Point: Beside the red lifebuoy on the western boardwalk. Shrimp love the warm shallows.
