A stone crab has two giant claws with black tips, like a goalkeeper wearing big gloves. Stone crabs live in Florida, home of Inter Miami, where Lionel Messi went to play. This one keeps its claws up as if it is ready for a penalty.

On Futbol Island the stone crab can be caught at:

• Seawall Gate Sands: A sandy bank just past the seawall gate, where the causeway leaves the main island. Shrimp dart about in the warm shallows, and an octopus hides in the seawall stones.

Size on the island: 8–14 cm.
