A Patagonian toothfish lives in water almost as cold as ice, near the bottom of the world. It grows big and slowly, like a team built over many seasons. Its home is off the coast of Argentina, who won the World Cup in 2022.

On Futbol Island the patagonian toothfish can be caught at:

• Deep Sea Boat: A little fishing boat moored far out in the deep blue bay, north of the East Jetty. Squid, marlin and stranger things swim far below.
• Summit Deep Boat: A second little fishing boat, moored in the deep channel west of Summit Isle. Green, deep water where tuna, sailfish and marlin hunt the bait balls.

Size on the island: 70–230 cm.
