A John Dory is very thin from the front, with a big dark spot on its side like a target. New Zealand went home from the 2010 World Cup without losing a game. This one never loses a staring contest either.
On Futbol Island the john dory can be caught at:
- Farm Beach: The sunny south beach below Coral Cay Farm. Cod and haddock nose along the sandy bottom, and the farmers swap fruit for the catch.
Size on the island: 25–60 cm.
