A cuttlefish can ripple stripes of colour along its body, like a stadium doing a Mexican wave. Huelva, home of Spain's oldest football club, is famous for them. This one turns sunset orange when the sun goes down.
On Futbol Island the common cuttlefish can be caught at:
- Seawall Gate Sands: A sandy bank just past the seawall gate, where the causeway leaves the main island. Shrimp dart about in the warm shallows, and an octopus hides in the seawall stones.
Comes out at sunset.
Size on the island: 15–35 cm.
