A salmon is born in a river, swims out to the big sea, and years later finds its way back home, like a player returning to their first club. In Scotland salmon leap up waterfalls to get home. Scotland also played in the very first international football match.
On Futbol Island the atlantic salmon can be caught at:
- Lookout Rocks: Four boulders set out like stepping stones along a straight stretch of beach, in sight of the island’s old lookout. Shoals of silvery fish pass close to shore here.
Size on the island: 50–120 cm.
