In Japan the amberjack changes its name as it grows up, like a youth player moving up to the first team. It has a yellow stripe along its side and cruises the edge of the deep water. Kashima Antlers, from Japan, once made it all the way to the Club World Cup final.
On Futbol Island the japanese amberjack can be caught at:
- Drop-off Ledge: A rocky ledge on Summit Isle’s south-east shore, where the sand stops and the sea drops away into deep blue. Cod and haddock nose along the edge, and now and then a little shark patrols it.
Size on the island: 40–120 cm.
